To keep this short, I'll stick to 20 random facts about me:
1. My left thumb is shorter than my right, and thus has been affectionately nicknamed "stubster".
2. I have freckles--and I absolutely love them.
3. I am afraid of heights, but yet I love roller coasters. When I was 8, I rode the Loch Ness Monster at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virgina 10 times...in a row.
4. The best vacation I ever took was to France in May 2009. It changed my life.
5. I've never been to Canada.
6. I had a black labrador retriever, Hailey, for 11 years. She passed away in the Winter of 2009 and I still miss her every single day.
7. I want to name my first child Holden after Holden Caulfield, the narrator of J.D. Salinger's Catcher in the Rye, which happens to be my favorite novel of all time.
8. When I was little, I dreamed of being a Disney Princess....and still do.
9. Life without oatmeal and coffee would be a sad life indeed.
10. So would life without chocolate.
11. Life without Ed, on the other hand, is spectacular.
12. I got the nickname "Coco" my freshman year of college, by a friend of mine who was intoxicated. Little did I know the name would stick.
13. My best friend and I have known each other for 20 years. She got married in September 2011 and I am overjoyed to have been by her side as her Maid of Honor. We have been "planning" her wedding since about 1995.
14. I played the part of Kim MacAfee in my high school's production of the musical "Bye Bye Birdie" when I was 17.
15. I used to be an intense ballerina.
16. In college, I started out as a Creative Writing major, but switched to Psychology.
17. My idols include (but are not limited to) Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, Maya Angelou, and Emily Dickinson.
18. One day I will publish a book. You just wait and see.
19. I would secretly love to be a stay-at-home mom...or even just a stay-at-home "person" if I don't have kids.
20. I may not love everything about my life, or about my body, but I do know that I am happy to be alive regardless.
