Wish me luck

So, tomorrow I have my first day of classes at Towson University!

Here's my schedule:

Mondays: Philosophy 101 3:30-4:45

Tuesdays: 20th Century American Novel 2-3:15; Literature & Film 3:30-6:10

Wednesdays: Philosophy 101 3:30-4:45

Thursdays: 20th C Am. Novel 2-3:15

Fridays: NO CLASS!!!

So, I think I lucked out in terms of times, etc. I am nervous because this is the longest break I've had from the academic world EVER in my entire life! (Haven't been enrolled in school since September 09). But, I'm looking forward to having mental stimulation again, and just being a part of a college community, even if I'm a commuter, is going to feel good.

Wish me luck, and I'll be sure to post a recap after my first few days!

P.S. Still can't find the USB cord to connect my camera to my computer...guess I'll have to give in and buy a new one. gggrrrrrr.......

  1. Good Luck!
I know you'll be able to do it! School is nothing compared to ED, you have had the courage to beat ED, now school should be a breeze for someone as strong as you.

Also, you look so beautiful in your display picture!

  2. you will do great! the first day is the worst part! but you've come so far with recovery that i know you can do school...that's the easy part!walk in their with your head held high..because you deserve to be there! good luck!

  3. It'll be fun! Lot's of new people and things to do. You will do great!

  4. good luck coco, i'm sure you will enjoy it! make the most out of your time in college girl :)

  5. good luck, and enjoy college!! your classes look like ones i would do :)

  6. Have fun tomorrow! I don't have to wish you luck because I'm sure you won't need it!

P.S. I don't think I've commented before, but I've been following your blog since August and have read all of your posts. I just wanted to let you know that while you may not have fancy-schmancy food pictures, your blog will always be one of my favorites. I love your approach to recovery and your emphasis on eating normally, not like a health nut. Your words have sure helped me out a lot! Anywhos...I hope that gives you the confidence you deserve for your first day tomorrow!

  7. It's so good that you're going back to school...really. A lot of people struggle with their ED's at school, but if you're occupied, determined, and focussing on living your life rather than starving it away, you'll enjoy it so much more!

Good luck! I hope everything goes well! (and what? friday's off? lucky girl!)

A new semester starts for me tomorrow, too!

  8. Good luck, you can do this! Breath, trust in yourself and most important...enjoy!
